Minute® Ready to Serve White Rice

Minute® Ready to Serve White rice is a long grain natural white rice. Great for a quick, healthy snack or mealtime side-dish. Here are some great stir-in recipes.

  • Cooking Directions

    In the Microwave

    1. Pull or cut film to remove from cup. Place cup in microwave and heat on HIGH for 1 minute (cooking time for 2 cups is 1 ½ minutes).
    2. IMPORTANT: Remove cup carefully from microwave taking hold of cup from the side using an oven mitt or potholder. DO NOT PLACE HAND OVER TOP OF CUP WHEN REMOVING. CAUTION: Cup and steam will be very hot.
    3. Stir rice and pour onto serving dish or eat right out of the cup. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
    Microwave ovens vary so cooking time might be different. COVER AND REFRIGERATE UNUSED PORTION AFTER OPENING.

    On the Stove

    1. Remove film from container.  Empty contents into a small skillet or saucepan and break up any clumps.
    2. Add 1 tablespoon of water and heat over medium-high heat for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
    3. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 1 minute.
    COVER AND REFRIGERATE UNUSED PORTION AFTER OPENING.
